Worried about cheap PPF yellowing, how do I know I’m getting the real thing?

I’ve decided to get paint protection film on my car, but now I’m stuck on the question of which film and which installer, because I’ve heard horror stories about cheap film yellowing within a year or peeling at the edges. The last thing I want is to pay for protection and end up with something that looks worse than the paint it’s covering. I’ve been looking into Exotic Car Care genuine PPF installation since I’d rather go with someone who uses proper branded film, but I want to know how you actually verify that before the work is done. Do they show you the film brand and the warranty, or is that something you have to ask for? Also, is yellowing a real risk in this climate even with good film, or is it mostly a problem with the cheap stuff?
